The C.O.O.L.™ Jackson Project is a year-round non-school hour based program designed to assist ninth-12th grade students from both Murrah and Callaway High School in Jackson with developing the skills necessary for academic success, character-building and dropout prevention through innovative tutoring, mentoring and enrichment activities. The program meets weekly on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-6 p.m. at Millsaps College, also located in Jackson. In May 2015, C.O.O.L.™ Jackson saw its first group of high school graduates, graduating five students; two of whom became Lucky Day Scholars at the University of Southern Mississippi.
